The first project of the Cero and Enso Energy portfolio, Larks Green, is in England’s South Gloucestershire, and will generate 49.9 MW of power each year for the UK National Grid. This is expected to displace 23,000 tonnes of CO2 per annum and produce electricity equivalent to the annual electrical needs of 17,000 UK homes. An onsite battery storage system will supply power to the local network at times of peak demand.
Larks Green is currently under construction.
Cero and Enso Energy are working together in a UK solar and battery storage development joint venture. The partnership was established with the aim to create one of the UK’s largest subsidy-free solar and battery storage portfolios, which will deliver renewable energy to communities and businesses across the UK.
